This is where all those other things get talked about. Many of them will probably get their own page but, right now, they are getting added here as people ask about them.

Water Quality

Many people show concern about the water quality, particularly in developing nations. (They also should be concerned with water quality in developed nations because of added chemicals to make the water safe.) Drinking bottled water is one approach but there tends to be no standards for what goes into those bottles.

An alternative is to buy a filter system. A reverse osmosis filter can be added inexpensively to your kitchen sink. There are also less sophisticated filters that may be adequate. Finally, if you are concerned about chlorine in your shower, there are even filters for that. Here are some examples. The first is an reverse osmosis system, the second is just a filter which you attach to the kitchen faucet. The third is a replacement showerhead with a filter to remove chlorine.

As I said, these are but examples. Another possibility is a filter pitcher but then tend to be more expensive per liter of cleaned water produced.
